New Delhi: The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, is now adopting an unconventional family lifestyle. He plans to house all 11 children and their mother under one roof, creating a unique blended family. According to the New York Times, Musk recently purchased a 14,400-square-foot mansion in Austin, Texas, along with an adjoining six-bedroom property. The $35 million investment reflects Musk’s latest effort to reunite families in spacious, shared home environments.

The impressive mansion, reportedly designed in Tuscan style, is just about 10 minutes away from Elon Musk’s Texas residence. Musk sees this setup as an opportunity for his children to grow up closely, while also making it easier for him to balance time with each of them.

Since 2002, Musk has welcomed 12 children. After IVF in 2008, the couple had five more children – twins Griffin and Vivian, followed by triplets Saxon, Damian and Kai – but eventually divorced.

Since then, Musk’s relationship with British actress Talulah Riley has attracted much attention. The two have been married and divorced twice, but they have no children. Between 2020 and 2022, Musk welcomed three more children with musician Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher. The two have one child together named X, Y and Tau, although they are currently involved in a custody dispute.

In 2021, Musk and Neuralink executive Shivon Zillis secretly welcomed twins and confirmed that they have a third child.

How rich is Elon Musk?

His fortune recently soared by $21 billion after Tesla’s stock price soared nearly 19% after the company released impressive third-quarter earnings. The rise marked Tesla’s biggest one-day gain since March 2021, adding $117 billion to the company’s market value.
