With Salman Khan absent from weekend Ka Vaar, Ekta Kapoor took his place to host and grill 18 Bigg Boss contestants including Vivian Dsena, Chahat Pandey and Rajat Dalal.

big boss 18: Friday Weekend Ka Vaar episode titled Shukarvar Ka Vaar will be missed by Salman Khan fans. The superstar will not appear in the episode and will be replaced by producer Ekta Kapoor. The TV and film star producer hosts the BB weekend show and also promotes her upcoming release, The Sabarmati Report. Ekta, who is known for speaking her mind, did not disappoint as she educated her housemates on their behavior.
In the new promo, Ekta looks annoyed with Vivian Desena, Rajat Dalal and Chahat Pandey. At first, Ekta lashes out at Vivian’s “arrogance.” Ekta introduces Vivian on TV and she reminds him of the incident. Ekta said: “So what if you have worked for 10 years? All the people in the family admire you?” Vivian defended herself and said: “I have never said such a thing.” Ekta immediately replied loudly: ” So who do you show this pride to?” She further added, “Vivian avoids work because of it and that’s why he came to Bigg Boss after 8 years.”

Later, Ekta lashed out at Rajat Dalal, calling him the big bully in the family and ruling over Avinash Mishra by showing her power. Giving him a reality check, Ekta said, “Woh (Avinash) is injured, aap uske saamne khade ho, toh koi bade toph nahi ban rahe ho.” She further added, “Aap is actually dabaav dikha rahe ho apna. Finally, Ekta lost her cool on Avinash and said, “Aapne aaj mere pita ka naam bhi liya hota, main ghar ke andar aapko samjhane aur khane,” Ekta used her hand gestures to indicate a slap.
It will be interesting to see how Vivian or Rajat react to Ekta’s scrutiny. Salman is not featured in the new promo and it looks like he will miss Friday’s Weekend Ka Vaar but may appear on Saturday.
