Cholanaikkans uses its own unique language and belongs to the Dravidian family similar to Malayalam and Kannada. Talking text is specially prepared for Meenakshi.
The talkative text prepared for Meenakshi is named “Thanks, Bana, Belli” (Moon, Sky and Star) in Cholanaikkan.
“This is a model of inclusiveness in Kerala education,” state general education minister V. Sivankutty said in a Facebook post.
“SSK of the General Education Ministry wrote audio and video texts 30 times for this particular female language because she didn’t understand Malayalam,” the minister said in his post.
