Death of Rohan Mirchandani: Edelweiss Mutual Fund Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Radhika Gupta on Sunday reacted to the death of Epigamia co-founder Rohan Mirchandani at the age of 42.
Mirchandani’s death due to cardiac arrest sent shockwaves through the business community.
Radhika Gupta expressed grief over the untimely death of her fellow co-founder, saying it makes you question a lot of things. Gupta also highlighted the unfortunate incident of so many young people between the ages of 40 and 50 dying due to heart disease or stress-related issues.
“It’s heartbreaking to see so many people I know lose their lives to heart disease and stress-related illnesses in their 40s and 50s. It makes you question a lot of things,” Gupta told X Platform said in the post.
The Edelweiss executive also emphasized the importance of “gratitude” as we age as part of a strategy for managing stress.
“As I grow older, my biggest learning is to learn to be grateful,” she said.
“Wealth lists and power lists would lead you to believe that life is a race, but there are always people who have more…and many who have less. Count your blessings and live in the moment.
