Raipur: The Enforcement Bureau (ED) on Monday conducted a raid at the site of Chatanya Baghel, son of former Chhattisgarh chief minister and congressional leader Bhupesh Baghel, in connection with a suspected alcohol scam related to the money laundering case.
Ed is conducting a search at 14 locations in Chhattisgarh, including the residence of Bhilai of Chatanya Baghel, son of former chief minister Bhupesh Baghel. The attack was carried out under the Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

ED earlier claimed that the Chhattisgarh wine “scam” caused “tremendous losses” to the Ministry of Finance while generating revenue from the wine joint organisation of over Rs 21 billion for illegal gains. Several people, including state officials and businessmen, have been arrested.
