The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (DVAC) conducted a raid on property related to AIADMK MLA AMMAN ARJUNAN, representing the Coimbatore North North constituency in Tamil Nadu. These searches are part of an investigation into disproportionate asset allegations against lawmakers.
Opposition leader and AIADMK Secretary General Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) responded strongly to the development, accusing the dominant political vendetta Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) claimed that the investigation was an attempt to separate from the failure of the state government Attention.
Palaniswami condemned the raid in a post published on X, noting: “I strongly condemn the “corruption elimination” investigation of my brother under the Stalin model DMK government @Mkstalin and respect the officials and respect the @ammankarjunan Brother Yinbai Members of the North Coimbatore constituency of the Legislative Council. ”
EPS further claimed that corruption was rampant in all departments under the DMK government and accused the ruling party of using anti-corruption investigations as a cover for its administrative flaws. “Now, under the Stalin model of the DMK in Tamil Nadu, no department is free from corruption.
