US President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday named his campaign manager Suzy Wells as White House chief of staff, his first major appointment since winning this week’s election.
“Suzy is strong, smart, innovative and universally admired and respected,” Trump said in a statement. “Suzy will continue to work tirelessly to make America great again. Suzy became the first in American history It is a well-deserved honor for me to be a female Chief of Staff.”
