Residence standards may also exist, and these qualifications must be registered voters with the deadlines decided by the government. In addition, there may be an age standard, and it may be profitable to exceed the age standard of 18 or 21 years. Similarly, those who have already utilized similar government benefits or government work will not qualify for the program.

The beneficiary may have to share their Aadhaar number to enable the Aadhaar-based E-KYC completion to ensure transparency in the direct benefit transfer program. There is a good chance that the beneficiaries may be asked to connect their pot to Aadhaar. According to the Delhi government, to ensure transparency and efficiency, the plan will utilize advanced technologies including Aadhaar-based E-KYC to seamlessly pay financial benefits.
