Delhi election results 2025: The BJP achieved an overwhelming victory on Saturday as Delhi parliamentary elections were counted. After nearly 27 years of opposition, the Saffron Party will form the government with a clear majority.
Meanwhile, the ruling AAP faces a huge fate – heavyweight leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, face failure.
Data shared by the Election Commission shows that the BJP will end the poll with 48 seats, while the AAP now has 22 constituencies. Parliament has drawn a gap for the third consecutive Delhi parliamentary elections. The majority of the marks that constitute governments in the national capital are 36.
Some seats in the Delhi Parliament held a fierce competition, with only a few hundred votes distinguishing the winner from the trailing candidate. Three BJP members secured their constituencies with profits of less than 1,000 votes.

Three candidates – All candidates from the BJP won the Delhi Parliamentary elections with less than 1,000 votes.
- Sangam Vihar – BJP candidate Chandan Kumar Choudhary wins with 344 votes
- Trilokpuri – BJP candidate Ravi Kant wins with 392 votes
- Jangpura – BJP candidate Ravinder Singh Marwah Kant wins with 675 votes
Several candidates won the polls with a slightly higher margin of up to 2,000 votes.

- Rajinder Nagar – BJP candidate Umang Bajaj wins 1,231 votes
- Mehrauli – BJP candidate Gajender Singh Yadav wins with 1782 votes

- Malviya Nagar – BJP candidate Satish Upadhyay wins with 2131 votes
