The collapse of a highway bridge killed at least three people and injured seven people because of the crossing of some of the building structures.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the accident occurred on Tuesday in Anseong, 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) from Seoul, when five 50-meter steel support structures were suspended by cranes in the original place of revocation. The crash was captured by a car’s rear driving record on the road below.

The National Fire Service said three people were killed and six were injured, five of them in critical condition. Other reports said seven people were injured.

The fire agency said authorities were looking for another person believed to have been buried under the rubble on the scene.

During the hunt for survivors, rescuers at the site saw inspecting twisted metal struts and cracked concrete slabs under the highway bridge posts.

South Korea’s Acting President Choi Sang-Mok called for mobilization of all available personnel and resources to rescue any missing persons and ensure public safety.

The Ministry of Transport said officials have been sent to the scene.
