2025 Kawasaki Z650RS priced at $7.20 Lakhs, comes with new Ebony color scheme and Kawasaki traction control system. It retains the 649 cc engine that produces 67 horsepower, classic design elements and modern safety features.

Bajaj has launched the 2025 Chetak 35 series in India with a new battery layout, enhanced storage, new chassis and touch-sensitive dashboard. Available in three models, it retains the retro design but includes modern features to compete effectively in the electric scooter market. Price starts at $120,000, Gundam $127,000. Both prices are ex-showroom, Bangalore.

Maruti Suzuki has announced that they will showcase the e Vitara at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is expected to be launched by mid-2025. The manufacturer also announced that they are working on opening new charging stations.

Honda will increase prices
Honda is the latest carmaker in India to announce a price increase on its models. The Japanese company is now part of the Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor and Tata Motors groups, all of which will increase prices across their product lines from January next year. The price increase will affect all models sold in India, including the newly launched Amaze subcompact sedan, which will be launched on December 4.
Starting January 1, 2025, Honda plans to increase prices by up to 2%, depending on the specific model. Currently, Honda offers City and Amaze sedans, as well as its only SUV, the Elevate.

Kia calls for lower EV tax
Kia’s push to lower taxes on electric vehicles comes in response to recent news that the government may increase the goods and services tax (GST) on used electric vehicles from 12% to 18%. The company believes this increase will deter potential buyers. Gwanggu Lee, managing director and CEO of Kia India, mentioned that without tax incentives from the government, electric vehicle sales in India may not grow much.
