As Bihar prepares to take part in parliamentary polls later this year, Nitish Kumar on Wednesday swore a sworn for ministers with seven Bharatiya Janata party parties, expanding the cabinet. Sanjay Saraogi, Sunil Kumar, Jibesh Mishra, Krishna Kumar Mantoo, Motilal Prasad, Vijay Kumar Mandal and Raju Kumar Singh were sworn in, as reported by ANI.
Samrat Chaudhary, deputy chief parliament of Bihar, congratulated the newly elected minister and said they would work for the development of Bihar. “I congratulate all seven ministers who will develop for Bihar under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar.” Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal said that both the government and the people will benefit from the experience of new members of the cabinet.
“Those who are appointed as ministers today have a long experience, and the government and the public will benefit from it,” Jaiswal said. Earlier, Dilip Jaiswal announced his resignation as minister, citing the party’s “one person, one position” norms.
“I will resign from the position of Minister of Taxation. ‘One, one position’ is the principle of the party’s work. I thank the central leadership for giving the responsibility of the state department of my party.” Jaiswal was appointed head of BIHAR BJP on January 18 this year.
Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, urged the Tate people to support his father in the elections held later this year. Nishant Kumar said: “I urge the people of Bihar to vote for CM Nitish Kumar in Bihar when the state has made a lot of development. Last time, people gave 43 seats. They should make sure we win more seats in the election so we can continue the pace of development.”
He urged JD (U) workers to bring the policies and achievements of Nitish Kumar over the past 19 years to the Bihar people. Parliamentary elections in Bihar may be held from October to November this year.
