NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was recently killed in Mumbai, was not a good man and had links with India’s most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim. After his arrest, it was claimed that Daoud Ibrahim was the gang’s gunman.

Yogesh alias Raju (26) is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi-Hashim Baba gang. He was arrested in connection with the killing of gym owner Nadir Shah in Delhi’s Greater Kailash area last month. He had no connection with the October 12 killing of Siddiq.

Raju was arrested on Thursday morning after he was injured in an encounter with a joint team of Delhi Police’s special team and Mathura police. Police recovered a .32 caliber pistol, ammunition and a motorcycle from him.

After being shot in the leg, Raju was taken to a district hospital. He spoke about Siddiq in an interview with reporters at the hospital on Thursday.

“Baba Siddique was killed because he was not a good person. Charges were filed against him under the Maharashtra Organized Crime Control Act (MCOCA). He was said to be in close contact with Dawood, the mastermind behind the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts There is contact.

“When people associate with such people, something is bound to happen. This is exactly what happened to Siddique,” Raju claimed.

Talking about criminals collecting information before committing crimes, he said, “Now we have mobile phones, the Internet, Google, etc. Through these means, we can know a lot of information about a person.” Regarding the Delhi murder case, Raju claimed that he had no connection with anyone There is no direct contact with anyone. “We only communicate through friends in Delhi,” he said.

“We have been given direct targets. Anyone who gets in the way and does something wrong will face consequences,” he added.

Recalling his entry into the world of crime, Raju said, “The police pushed me into this life. I was a poor man and I was wrongly implicated. Cases were filed against me.” Talking about joining a criminal gang, “I gradually became involved. I was part of the Hashim Baba gang, which was also run by Lawrence Bishnoi,” he said. “The gang was much bigger than you think. There were more members than you thought. There are more,” he added.

After receiving treatment for his injuries, the police put Raju into a car and prepared to take him to jail.

On the evening of October 12, former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique (66) was shot dead outside the office of his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra area.

Five more people were detained on Friday for allegedly providing guns and logistical support to the gunmen in the Baba Siddique murder case, Mumbai police officials said, taking the total number of arrests in the sensational case to nine.

Prima facie, the five arrested accused are linked to absconding conspirator Shubham Lonkar and mastermind Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar, the official said. According to police, Akhtar was earlier associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and was allegedly one of the masterminds in Siddique’s murder case.
