MP Digvijaya Singh claims he was asked not to oppose Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) when he was worried about “inciting Hinduism”.
In a post on X on Sunday (March 9, 2025), Singh also praised MP Rahul Gandhi for giving a difficult speech in Gujarat on Saturday (March 8, 2025) about those at the party helping the ruling BJP.
Speaking to the Congressional workers in Ahmedabad on Saturday (8 March 2025), Mr Gandhi said that the party’s first job was to separate two groups of Congressional workers and leaders who were placed in the party’s ideology and stood with the public and others, and half of them were accompanied by the BJP”.
Lok Sabha members stressed the need to filter out such leaders and workers and warned of strict action, even evacuation.
Mr Singh congratulated Mr Gandhi and said, “I remember when I went to Gujarat as Chief Minister, I was instructed not to object to RSS. Hindus would be angry.”
Asserting that Sangh does not represent Hindus, Rajya Sabha member was a CM of Madhya Pradesh from 1993 to 2003, he claimed it only misleads and exploits the community in the name of religion.

Which shankaracharya is @bjp4india, @rssorg today’s supporter, @rssorg today? bjp is a set of exploitative elements whose only goal is to win the fate of religion and obtain religion, and obtain the applied religion.
