Apple announced new MacBook Air models on Wednesday, with the latest M4 chip and artificial intelligence at a price of $100 less than the previous generation as the company hopes to stimulate sales and convince customers to upgrade its devices.
The base version of the new series of laptops with a 13-inch screen costs $999, while the 15-inch MacBook Air costs $1,199. Bookings will begin on Wednesday and the devices will be available in-store on March 12.
After a post-pandemic downturn, the PC market is expected to launch AI-ai-ai-ables-type personal computers this year.

Apple Intelligence is a set of features that access CHATGPT, allowing users to write emails, messages, and edit photos in other features.
The AI feature suite debuted late last year on Apple’s iPhone devices, and the company has been launching tools in a variety of languages and regions to capture more users.
Apple’s Mac sales were $8.99 billion in the holiday quarter, up from analyst estimates of $7.96 billion, according to LSEG.

On the same day, the company announced its M3 Ultra processor, which is expected to be better than the previous generations of Apple’s silicon.
The new processor will be available as an option for Apple’s new Mac Studio product, which will unveil Wednesday, allowing it to run large language models with more than 600 billion parameters in a computer.
The new series of Mac Studio devices for AI developers, video and photo editors will start at $1,999.
Mac Studio with M3 Ultra Chip will have at least 96 GB of memory, while computers with M4 Max chips will start with 36 GB of memory.
