Apple has been launching on iPad for the past few days and has now been launching after the launch of the MacBook Air M4. The new MacBook brings it a new processor, support for Apple Intelligence, some additive connectivity options and new prices. Check out our detailed comparison below to learn more about the new features of the MacBook Air M4.

What new features are available on the MacBook Air M4?

1) New color options:

Apple is bringing a new sky blue to the MacBook Air M4, which will also come with its own set of color-matched MagSafe-compatible cables.

Beyond that, Apple continues to offer midnight, starlight and silver as color options for the new MacBook Air.

2) New chipset:

As the name suggests, the MacBook Air M4 is powered by a new M4 processor that has a 10-core CPU, an 8 or 10-minute GPU, and supports 32GB of unified memory. Apple has made many suggestions on improvements in daily tasks such as using M4 chipsets, video editing, photo editing and web browsing. However, all of these improvements are when face-to-face with an older MacBook Air with an Intel chipset or an M1 SOC, so it’s hard to say that the improvements are about the last generation improvements.

3) Apple Smart:

The Apple Air M4 comes with a new powerful chipset, so the Cupertino-based tech giant naturally launched its Apple Intelligence features from the start. The new MacBook supports AI features of current MacOS Sequoia, including Genmoji, writing tools, image playground and Chatgpt support in Siri.

4) New connection options:

The new MacBook Air comes with an upgraded Thunderbolt port, which has risen from Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 4, providing more security and better connectivity. The M4 also provides support for two 6K external displays.

Although Apple has already provided support for dual external displays for the previous generation of MacBooks, the M4 MacBook also allows for the use of a built-in liquid retina display as well as an external display.

5) New price and discount price:

Despite the upgrade, the MacBook Air M4 is priced below its predecessor 99,900 of 13-inch variant 1,24,900 of 15-inch variant.

By comparison, last year’s M3 MacBook priced at 13-inch variants of 1,14,900 and 15-inch version of 1,34,900.
