Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and Andhra Pradesh Overseas Manpower Corporation (OMCAP) have signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SM Care GmbH to train nursing graduates in German. Training will be provided by Hallow Language Centre.
APSSDC Managing Director and CEO G. Ganesh Kumar said the collaboration is part of the Skills International program of the Ministry of Skill Development and Training. Under the initiative, national nursing graduates and postgraduate students will receive German language training at levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. They will also receive training in German etiquette. He said candidates who complete the six-month training will be placed in reputed hospitals in Germany.
D. Manohar, Executive Director, APSSDC and General Manager, OMCAP, highlighted the growing need and importance of nursing staff globally, especially in countries like Germany.
AP State Healthcare Department Head and Nursing Skill Development Officer Reehana Khanam, OMCAP Human Resources Manager Satish Babu, Hallo Language Center CEO Natraj and others were present.
The official team also released a poster for the German language training and placement program.
