The Andhra Pradesh government is planning to establish a Shakthi police station and submit a Shakthi mobile application to effectively implement safety measures for women in the state. The state government will ensure that a dedicated budget is provided for this purpose. The existing women’s police station may also be transformed into Shakthi police station.

and Hindu Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha said on Tuesday at the Telugu DESAM Legislature Office in Amaravati that she will discuss in detail with Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu about mobile apps and the Special Police Station to enhance women’s safety.

Ms Anitha claims that the former YSRCP government misled the public in the name of Disha Act, which does not even exist. She added that the NDA government has been maintaining law and order and is working to reduce crimes against women and children and use drugs and Ganja.

The government has established an elite anti-drug law enforcement organization (EAGLE) to prevent Ganja and drugs from smuggling in the state. She said the Preventive Drug Prevention Team will be formed at the schools, universities and universities to respond to the threat from educational institutions.

In addition, the government has taken steps to prevent Ganga farming in the state. Drone surveillance has been added in the areas suspected of growing Ganja. To examine Ganja smuggling in other states, the suspect’s movement was carefully observed. Ms Anitha said technology is widely used in all operations.

Drones at each police station

The Home Secretary said the government has been implementing a new policy in which each police department in the state will have at least one drone camera to effectively monitor the crime scene. The price per drone camera is about Rs 3 lakh. She added that additional drones will be provided to the regional headquarters for use throughout the region.
