Amit Shah, a veteran of the Bharatiya Janata Party, said: “It has become a fashion now – Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar. If I listen to God until my life reaches heaven (It has become a fashion to say Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar. If they use the name of God many times, they will Heaven has its place)”.
Amit Shah’s tone and tone were full of aggression. But while the register was popular in campaign speeches, in trying to highlight Congress’s alleged neglect of social justice while paying lip service to Ambedkar, Amit Shah’s rhetoric was overblown.
Currently, in the Union House, Amit Shah seems unaware that his remarks would cause such a stir as he himself ends up belittling the anti-caste icon.
