Airtel’s new rupees. 59 Prepaid Recharge Package reportedly obtained weekend data overturning facilities

Bharti Airtel offers a new charging plan for its prepaid mobile users, a report said. Said to be known as the weekend rollover packet, it can continue unused mobile data saved from weekdays and add it to existing allowances for the weekend. It is reportedly available to Airtel users located in telecom provider Haryana and Northeastern circles.

According to TelecomTalk report, the cost of a new weekend rollover package is Rs. 59, valid for 28 days. By using the program, unused mobile data from Monday to Friday will be saved and added to the Saturday and Sunday allowance. It is offered as an add-on program, and in order for it to work, Airtel prepaid customers must have an active basic package with unlimited voice and day-to-day data benefits.

For example, customers who have a 2GB data allowance per day but use 1GB of data only on a specific day will carry the remaining data and add it to the weekend’s data balance. Airtel says the added data can be used to make video calls or stream content on the OTT platform. According to the telecom provider, the speed will be reduced to 64kbps after data limit.

With its introduction, Airtel has become India’s latest telecom provider, offering weekend rollover benefits. It is worth noting that Vodafone Idea (VI) already offers a similar service. At the same time, Airtel also provides monthly data rollover benefits through its postpaid mobile plan.

Apple Subscribe to Airtel Plan

Airtel also recently announced a strategic partnership with Apple to access its home Wi-Fi and postpaid users for Apple TV+. Airtel Xstream Fiber users and postpaid mobile users can access the content library of streaming services by selecting plans starting with Rs. 999.

Additionally, Airtel’s postpaid mobile users can also access Apple Music for free with Apple TV+ subscriptions.
