Fulfilling a pre-poll promise, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday announced that all government hospitals in Haryana will provide free dialysis to patients with chronic kidney disease. The decision was taken at the first cabinet meeting chaired by Saini.
“We have fulfilled our first poll promise. All government hospitals in Haryana will now provide free dialysis services to chronic kidney disease patients. The first document I signed (as chief minister) was about this The decision was made. We have made a commitment that the cost of dialysis will be nearly Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per month and the Haryana government will now bear the cost.
Addressing a press conference after chairing the first cabinet meeting, the chief minister also warned criminal elements in the state to mend their ways.
“I warn those involved in criminal activities that they must either leave the country or rehabilitate their behavior or we will rehabilitate them,” he said.
On the BJP coming to power in Haryana for the third time, Saini said the people of the state defeated the lies of the Congress in the elections and gave the BJP a major mandate. “I express my deep gratitude to the people of Haryana for recognizing the Prime Minister’s policies,” he said.
He said that Haryana will play an important role in achieving the goal of “Viksit Bharat”. “Our government is committed to empowering the poor, youth, farmers and women,” he said.
After the cabinet meeting, Saini accompanied the ministers to their newly allocated rooms at the Haryana Civil Secretariat to accept their responsibilities. Saini said these posts would be allocated to all ministers soon.
The chief minister first accompanied seven-time MLA Anil Vij to his office. In an interview with the media, Weiji said, “This government will not only govern without stopping like the previous two governments, but also run at ‘subway speed.'” No matter what responsibilities were given to me in the past, I tried my best to complete them. Minister Krishan Lal Panwar said: “The government has provided employment opportunities to around 25,000 youths as a gift on Diwali”. Rao Narbir Singh said: “BJP’s promise to the people of Haryana Sankalp Patra Priority will be given to fulfillment. At the same time, the waterlogging problem in Gurgaon, known as the economic capital of the state, will also be resolved soon.”
Mahipal Dhanda said, “The aim of our government is to make life easier for the needy, poor, youth and farmers. Farmers’ crops are purchased through MSP, which brings them It’s a big relief.” Vipul Goel says his first priority is to implement BJP’s policies Sankalp Patra. “I will work towards making Faridabad a developed city. Apart from this, completing the ongoing development work will be my top priority,” he added.
Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, Shyam Singh Rana, Ranbir Gangwa, Shruti Choudhry, Arti Singh Rao are the other cabinet ministers in charge of their respective offices. Ministers of State (Independent Charge) Gaurav Gautam and Rajesh Nagar were also inaugurated.
Paddy procurement: Rs 3,056 transferred to farmers’ accounts
Saini said the ongoing paddy procurement in the state also came under scrutiny during the cabinet meeting. “Both sides held detailed discussions on procurement issues. The BJP government is committed to procure every grain from our farmers at MSP,” he said. He said there would be no price reduction for paddy with moisture content not exceeding 17%. The Chief Minister said that more than 27.45 lakh tonnes of paddy has reached mandis this season and more than 23 tonnes of LMT have been procured at the minimum support price (MSP) as of Thursday.
For the paddy procured, Rs 3,056 crore has been credited to farmers’ accounts, he said.
More than 3.44 LMT of bajra have arrived in mandis so far this season. Of this, over 2.70 LMT has been procured and Rs 331 crore has been credited to farmers’ accounts, he added.
