Jainacharya Ratnasundersuri Maharaj was born on January 5, 1948 and wrote at least 400 books on spirituality and religion. In January this year, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the 400th Jain book and received blessings from Jain monks.

In 2016, Prime Minister Modi released Jainacharya Ratnasundersurishwarji’s 300th book titled “Maru Bharat, Saru Bharat” written in Gujarati and Hindi.

In 2017, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India’s third highest civilian honor, for his services to the spiritual field.

The Prime Minister started his week-long campaign in Maharashtra today and at a rally in Dhule, he lashed out at the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), calling the MVA a A vehicle with neither wheels nor brakes, where there is a fight to sit in the driver’s seat.
