AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D desktop processor has 8 CPU cores [File]

AMD has launched the Ryzen 7 9800X3D desktop processor as part of the Ryzen 9000 series, featuring Zen 5 architecture, 8 CPU cores and 16 threads.
AMD said that the new processor “increases gaming performance by an average of 8% compared to the previous generation and is an average of 20% faster than competitors.”
The new processor also features second-generation AMD Gen 3D V-Cache technology. According to the company, the 64MB cache has been moved below the processor. Total cache is 104MB.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D desktop processor combines a 4.7 GHz base clock speed with a 5.2 GHz maximum boost clock and a 120W TDP.
In the third quarter of this year, AMD’s revenue was US$6.8 billion, an increase of 18% year-on-year.
