Maruti Suzuki is scheduled to launch the new-generation Dzire on November 11, 2024, and ahead of the launch, the carmaker has announced actor Sidharth Malhotra as the brand ambassador of the small sedan. The company has also launched a new TV commercial as part of a marketing campaign featuring Indian film stars.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire is one of the company’s most successful models, with sales of over 2.7 million units in 16 years so far. The next-generation version is expected to build on the success of its predecessor and be radically different from its donor car, the new-generation Swift hatchback. Meanwhile, Malhotra is considered one of the most popular actors in the industry, known for his films like Student of the Year, Hasee Toh Phasee, Shershah and many more. This will also be the actor’s first collaboration with an automaker.

New generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire features
The styling of the new Dzire is not only completely different from the current model, but also completely different from the Swift. The front features a large single-frame grille, LED headlights, new alloy wheels and new smoked taillights. The cabin borrows some design elements from the new Swift, with features including a standalone touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a semi-digital instrument console, a head-up display and more.
The fourth-generation Dzire will be powered by a 1.2-litre engine, available in pure petrol and CNG options. Maruti has announced the fuel efficiency figures of the new Dzire. The fuel efficiency of the model is 24.97 km/litre in the petrol manual version and 25 km/litre in the petrol AMT version. Meanwhile, the new Dzire CNG will return 33.73 km/kg. All dolls are ARAI certified.
