Karnataka News: In a shocking incident, a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus driver suffered a heart attack while driving. He died soon after.
According to media reports, officials said the incident took place around 11 am when the driver was on his last route of the day, from Nelamangala to Dasanapura area. The deceased was identified as Kiran Kumar, 40.

The horrific moment was captured on CCTV cameras. Footage of the incident was shared on social media. The video shows Kumar leaning forward and falling to his left side as he suffered a heart attack. After the driver fell, the bus lost control and hit another BMTC vehicle.
Amid the chaos, bus conductor Obalesh reacted quickly. He took over the wheel, brought the bus to a safe stop and ensured the health of all passengers inside the bus. According to media reports, the conductor then rushed Kumar to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kiran Kumar, the driver of Station 40, who passed away due to a sudden heart attack on November 6,” the company wrote in a statement.
