The ninth generation of Toyota Camry is all set to make its debut in the Indian market, but just before that, the Japanese manufacturer has released a new teaser in which we get a glimpse of the interior of the new Camry. The new teaser confirms some of the features the new premium sedan will come with.
The teaser shows that the dashboard will be finished in a soft brown and black theme. There will be a wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brake, ventilated front seats and a button to start/stop the engine. The driver will also get a front armrest, a multifunction steering wheel and a monitor, and there will be two cupholders on the center console.
There will also be support for a large touchscreen infotainment, with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Rear-seat passengers will have a small screen integrated into the center armrest to control various car functions. Apart from this, there is also a small lens of new alloy wheel design with a dual-tone finish.

Like its predecessor, the new generation Toyota Camry will also enter the Indian market in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) form. The current Camry is priced at $46.17 million ex-showroom. The new model is expected to be priced at $5 million marks. The sedan has been on sale in the Indian market for 11 years and once the new generation is launched it will compete with the likes of the Skoda Superb and BYD Seal EV.

What are the specifications of the new generation Toyota Camry?
The latest version of the Toyota Camry sedan is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a peak power of 222 horsepower. This power is transmitted to the front wheels through an eCVT transmission. While the global variants of the Toyota Camry sedan come in front-wheel drive configuration, this setup is unlikely to be launched in the Indian market. The current Toyota Camry model sold in India has a fuel efficiency of 19 kmpl and this figure is expected to improve in the next generation model.
